Join Our Team Of Occupational Therapist AssistantsNursing South, a leading home healthcare agency serving Miami-Dade, is currently seeking dedicated Occupational Therapist Assistants to join our team of professionals. As an Occupational Therapist Assistant, you play a crucial role as a valued member of our patient treatment team. Your responsibilities include assessing and providing care in accordance with established physician treatment plans, all while actively participating in the coordination of patient care.Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesPut your Occupational therapy Assistant skills to work where they're really needed - follow a treatment plan and help them get better day by day.Communicate patient progress or problems to supervisor and other team members; assist with patient scheduling and documentation.Handle job responsibilities in accordance with the Company's Code of Business Conduct, the Corporate Compliance Agreement, appropriate professional standards, and applicable state/federal laws.Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive. Under the direction of the DON.All OTA Duties Related To Home Healthcare Requirements:Valid OTA License in the state of FloridaValid Driver's LicenseProof of CitizenshipSocial Security CardPPD or Chest X-rayLevel 2 Background Check with AHCAProfessional Liability InsuranceCPR/BLS CertificationCar Registration and Car Insurance if the vehicle is owned.Flexible opportunities, including evening and weekend shifts. Bilingual is preferred.
