PRN Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA)Occupational Therapy Assistant provides skilled Occupational Therapy service on an intermittent basis to clients in their homes under the supervision of the Occupational Therapist.Millennium Home Care (an affiliate of Millennium Healthcare, LLC) is looking for dedicated PRN OTAs to join our team. We offer competitive pay and a supportive work environment.Responsibilities:Patient Care: Provide skilled therapy services under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist.Therapeutic Interventions: Implement treatment plans, including therapeutic exercises, activities of daily living training, and adaptive equipment training.Patient Education: Educate patients and families on techniques to improve functional skills and independence.Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress, treatment plans, and interventions.Collaboration: Work collaboratively with Occupational Therapists, physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.Infection Control: Adhere to strict infection control guidelines to protect both patients and healthcare workers.Requirements:Certification: Current and valid Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA) license in the state of Florida.Experience: Minimum of 6 months of clinical experience as an OTA, preferably in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, or rehab setting.Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills.Professionalism: Strong work ethic, reliability, and a commitment to providing quality care.Transportation: Reliable transportation to visit patients in their homes.Benefits:Competitive Pay401k with company matchFlexible SchedulingOpportunities for Professional GrowthSupportive Work EnvironmentJoin our team and make a lasting impact on the lives of our patients.
