Job description
Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)Provides OT services under supervision of a licensed OT. Assists patients in regaining daily living and independence.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesCarry out OT treatment plans.Instruct patients in adaptive equipment and self-care.Document services and report progress to OT.Collaborate with therapy and nursing staff.QualificationsAssociate's Degree from accredited OTA program.Current state license.Experience preferred.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities- KSAsKnowledge of OT activities.Ability to follow OT instructions.Strong communication skills.Physical & Environmental RequirementsLifting, standing, walking, bending.Healthcare and LTC facility environment.EEO & ADA Statement: Progressive Rehab Solutions is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
