Job description
NeuroRestorative, a part of the Sevita family, provides rehabilitation services for people of all ages with brain, spinal cord and medically complex injuries, illnesses and other challenges. In a variety of locations and community-based settings, we offer a range of programs, including vocational and therapy programs, day treatments, and specialized services for infants, children, adolescents, Military Service Members and Veterans.

nYour Key Responsibilities
nnnImpactful Care Delivery: Conduct comprehensive evaluations and design customized, transformative treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each program participant.

nnInnovative Therapy: Administer cutting-edge occupational therapy programs, continually adapting and updating approaches to maximize participant outcomes and caseload efficiency.

nnCollaborative Leadership: Serve as a core member of our interdisciplinary rehabilitation team, collaborating seamlessly with physicians, families, consultants, and community partners.

nnMentorship & Supervision: Direct and inspire assigned staff and Certified Occupational Therapist Assistants (COTAs). You will play a key role in professional development, including onboarding, training, and performance evaluations.

nnContinuity of Care: Establish timely home exercise programs and conduct home evaluations to ensure a smooth transition and long-term success for participants.
n
nnCompliance & Documentation: Maintain precise, timely documentation and weekly schedules in accordance with department standards, licensing requirements, and strict ethics of confidentiality.

n nWhat You Bring to the Team
nEducation & Experience
nnnDegree: Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy.
n
nnExperience: Minimum of one (1) year of experience in human services.
n
nnPreferred: One (1) year of specialized experience in neuro-rehabilitation.
n
n nCertificates, Licenses, and Registrations
nnnActive Occupational Therapist License (OT/L) in good standing in the state of Georgia.
n
nnActive member in good standing with the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA).
n
n nAdditional Requirements
nnAbility to travel as needed to support participant home evaluations.
n nPhysical Demands & Work Environment
nnPhysical Strength: This position involves heavy work requiring the exertion of up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, up to 50 pounds frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds constantly to safely move objects and support participants.
