nJoin Comfort Care Homecare Inc as an Occupational Therapist and be a key player in enhancing lives. Your role involves conducting personalized therapy interventions for diverse populations and various age groups, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to implement individualized treatment plans, and providing hands-on therapy to improve functional abilities. Educate clients on adaptive techniques, maintain accurate records using electronic health systems, and stay current on occupational therapy advancements. Uphold ethical standards, engage in ongoing professional development, and contribute to our supportive work environment.
nResponsibilities:
nProvide occupational therapy assessments and treatments to clients in their homes
nDevelop and implement individualized treatment plans
nInstruct clients and their families in home exercise programs
nCollaborate with other healthcare professionals and agencies to ensure optimal client care
nDocument progress and treatment plans
nMaintain current knowledge of best practices
nDemonstrate proficiency in utilizing electronic health record systems for accurate and compliant patient record management
nWorking with diverse populations and age groups.
nRequirements:
nLicensed Occupational Therapist in the state of Florida
nMinimum of 1 year of experience in a clinical setting
nStrong communication and interpersonal skills
nAbility to work independently and as part of a team
nStrong organizational and problem-solving skills
nKnowledge of and adherence to ethical and professional standards.
