Occupational Therapist

The Hale Hand Center, is a well-respected and established set of outpatient orthopedic clinics located in Melbourne and Rockledge Florida. Our facilities specialize in hand and upper extremity rehabilitation. As Certified Hand Therapists (CHTs), we have the highest professional training for treating the hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder. We also offer Physical Therapy services. Our facilities are equipped to offer our patients an excellent opportunity to reach their optimal functional abilities. Join our winning team!

Job Description

Are you an Occupational Therapist looking to build a rewarding career in a specialized outpatient setting? At The Hale Hand Center, you'll join a highly respected team dedicated to helping patients regain function and improve their quality of life through expert hand and upper extremity rehabilitation.

What You'll Do:

As an Occupational Therapist, you'll play an essential role in helping patients achieve their functional goals by:

Evaluating patients and developing individualized treatment plans

Fabricating and fitting custom splints based on patient diagnoses

Providing evidence-based interventions to improve upper extremity function and independence in daily activities

Monitoring patient progress and modifying treatment plans as needed

Maintaining accurate and timely documentation

Collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to deliver exceptional patient care

Educating patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, adaptive techniques, and equipment

Ensuring compliance with all regulatory and safety standards

Qualifications

Graduate from a CAPTE-accredited Occupational Therapy program

Current state of Florida license

CPR certification

Outgoing, compassionate, and patient-focused personality

A strong desire to learn and grow in a specialty practice
