nThis is aclinical + leadership role, so we’re looking for an experienced OT who is ready to support both patients and the clinical team.

nnnAt least 1 year of experience as an Occupational Therapist

n

nnStrong neurological rehabilitation experience and confidence working with individuals with neurological injuries and conditions

n

nnPrevious supervisory experience with the ability to support, guide, and lead clinical team members

nWe’re redefining what occupational therapy looks like in neuro rehab.

nThis uniqueOccupational Therapist / Clinical Coordinatorposition combines meaningful, one-on-one neuro rehabilitation with the opportunity to provide clinical leadership, guidance, and support to the team.

nYou’ll work directly with individuals recovering from neurological conditions such asstroke, TBI, SCI, Parkinson’s disease, and more, helping them regain independence with daily activities, cognitive and executive functioning, community reintegration, home management, return to work, and the routines that matter most to their lives.

nAs aClinical Coordinator, you’ll also take on additional leadership responsibilities—supporting clinical team members, helping promote quality patient care, and serving as a clinical resource for the team.

nInstead of simply practicing skills in a clinic, you may help someone cook in their own kitchen, navigate a grocery store, return to work, manage their daily routine, or safely participate in their community again.

nResponsibilities

nWhat you will do: Responsibilities listed include but not limited to:

nnnPerform evaluations and develop treatment plans

n

nnRegularly re-assess effectiveness of treatment plans, attend staffing meetings and family conferences

n

nnPerform discharge evaluations, make appropriate recommendations for home and community safety, and provide referral and education resources

n

nnCommunicate patient’s needs and progress to the treatment team, physician, person receiving services and family members

n

nnCommunicates with other disciplines to ensure collaboration, coordination of care and enhance patient outcomes

n

n nQualifications

nWhat you will need:

nnnMinimum of a bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy from a college or university with an accredited Occupational Therapy program

n

nnCurrent, unrestricted license as an Occupational Therapist by state in which practicing

n

nnCurrent CPR Certification

n

nnA minimum of one year’s work experience as an Occupational Therapist

n

nnDemonstrates knowledge of rehabilitation techniques related to complex neurological diagnoses preferred

n

nnCommunicates effectively and professionally in verbal and written interactions

n

nnAbility to lift 50 pounds

n

nnMoving, lifting, or transferring of patients which may involve lifting of up to 100 pounds following safety procedures

n

nnDuties require fine motor skills ,visual acuity, and walking/ standing for extended periods

n

nnAdditional physical requirements include: pushing/pulling, bending/stooping, reaching, kneeling, and positioning frequently at times

n

nnA health screen or examination may be required prior to assignment and periodically thereafter, depending on specific location policy, local and state regulations to verify employee is physically capable of performing assigned duties with or without reasonable accommodations
