Occupational Therapist
nPosition Summary
nConducts occupational therapy treatments as per the Individual Family Service Plan (IFSP). Performs ongoing assessment and completes documentation as per DOH Early Intervention Guidelines.
nPrimary Position Responsibilities
nnnProvides developmentally appropriate therapeutic interventions.
n
nnCompletes thorough and accurate daily session notes and progress summary.
n
nnMaintains acceptable levels of patient care productivity.
n
nnCounsels and educates patient/family/caregiver.
n
nnCommunicates with other essential medical personnel and other providers including other EI providers.
n
nnCompletes all required DOH Early Intervention documentation.

n nQualifications
nMinimum Education:
nRequired:
nBachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy or related field
nPreferred:
n? Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy
n? Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy
nMinimum Years of Experience (Amount, Type and Variation):
nRequired:
n1-3 years experience: will consider new graduate
nPreferred:
nNone
nLicense, Registry or Certification:
nRequired:
nCurrent New Jersey State-Occupational Therapy License
nPreferred:
nNone
nKnowledge, Skills and/or Abilities:
nRequired:
nPediatric experience; Knowledge of Neuro-developmental and Sensory Integration treatment, typical/atypical child development
