n nOccupational Therapist - Day Neuro
nnPRN
nnWeekday PRN Rate: $60/hr
nWeekend PRN Rate: $66/hr
nnSeeking Per Diem Occupational Therapist to join our growing multi-disciplinary team in the Day Neuro setting. The position supports our Day Neuro clinic with opportunities to support our inpatient rehab hospital located on the same campus. The candidate will collaborate with the multi-disciplinary team to treat neurologic patients that include stroke, brain injury, SCI, and other neurologic disorders. We are seeking a candidate with strong neurological rehab skills who works well in a team setting. We are open to new grads with day neuro or strong outpatient neurologic experience.
nResponsibilities
n Perform comprehensive evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans and deliver skilled interventions for patients in medical-surgical, ICU, telemetry and specialty units
Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and collaborate on discharge planning to ensure safe and appropriate patient transitions
Document timely and accurately in the electronic medical record per hospital and regulatory standards
Completing patient/family education related to mobility, safe transfers and home exercise programs, as appropriate
Contribute to quality improvement and evidence-based practice initiatives within our team
n nQualifications
nMinimum Qualifications
n Current state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as an Occupational Therapist required
Certified BLS or completion in the first 90 days of employment required
