Job description
n n n n n n n n n n The NeuroMedical Center Rehabilitation Hospital is in search of a
n Full Time Occupational Therapist
n n n n n
Responsibilities:
n The occupational therapist must be able to effectively complete comprehensive evaluations, establish
n treatment plans of care, and provide appropriate occupational therapy treatments to patients with a variety
n of neurological diagnosis and impairments. The focus of occupational therapy is to maximize each patient's
n recovery and level of functional ability including but not limited to: neuromuscularrecovery (through neuro rehabilitation),
n functional mobility skills improvement, activities of daily living skills and independent activities of daily living
n skills improvement, cognitive skills improvement and proper use of adaptive equipment as needed.
n This position also requires effective communication skills to establish good rapport with patients and staff, to
n educate and train caregivers, and to provide an interdisciplinary team approach to each patient's care.
Qualifications: Must be an Occupational Therapist with a current Louisiana license.
Master's Degree
One year or more experience
