n_ Occupational Therapist - Home Health Care _
nLocation: Wayne County
nSchedule: 20 hours per week, day shift
nOn-Call Requirements: Minimum of one weekend per month, plus one summer holiday and one winter holiday
nCompensation & Benefits: $5,000 sign-on bonus; eligible for part-time benefits
n_ The position will be in the Territory of Wayne County The cities will include but are not limited to: _
nPrimary Coverage Areas: Dearborn, Dearborn Hiegts, Garden City. Inkster, Westland, Canton
nSecondary Coverage Areas: Southgate, Taylor, Romulus, Belleville
nGeneral Summary
nUnder the supervision of the site Team Leader or Supervisor, the Occupational Therapist will:
nnDeliver impactful OT evaluations and treatment – Put your clinical expertise to work! You'll perform comprehensive patient care duties that make a real difference in people's lives and help them reclaim their independence.
nBe the communication champion – You'll be the bridge between patients, coworkers, physicians, and other team members, keeping everyone in the loop about patient care needs while maintaining thorough and accurate documentation. Great communication = great outcomes!
nLead and empower your team – Supervise and delegate to your Assistant and tech team members, bringing out the best in your colleagues and fostering a collaborative care environment.
nKeep the wheels turning – Handle patient billing information with precision and accuracy, ensuring everything is documented and processed smoothly so the team can focus on what matters most: patient care.

nEDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
nnBachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy.
nMaster's Degree, preferred.
n nLICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS
nnCurrent State of Michigan Registration and National board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) certification.
n nWORKING CONDITIONS
nnPatient care setting with potential exposure to communicable disease.
nLimited noise, temperature fluctuation and dust are possible.
