Overview
nDepartment: Outpatient Rehabilitation- Occupational Therapy
nEmployment Type: Per Diem ( PRN)
nShifts Available: Days, Variable Shifts
nHours: Monday through Thursday, 7:30 am to 6 pm
nand Friday 7:30 am to 3:30 pm
nLocation: Providence Medical Center- Kansas City, KS
nJoin our Outpatient Rehabilitation Team and make a meaningful impact through patient-centered care. We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide comprehensive evaluations and individualized treatment plans that help patients improve function, maximize independence, and achieve their rehabilitation goals.
nIn this role, you will provide one-on-one therapy in a collaborative outpatient setting, treating patients with orthopedic, musculoskeletal, neurological, lymphedema, and pelvic health conditions. The ideal candidate is dedicated to evidence-based practice, functional outcomes, and exceptional patient care while partnering with physicians, rehabilitation specialists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver outstanding results .
nResponsibilities
nEssential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but is not limited to):
nnnEvaluate and treat patients in an acute hospital setting to improve functional mobility, ADLs, safety, and independence
n
nnDevelop and implement individualized treatment plans for medically complex adult and geriatric patients
n
nnCollaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to support safe and timely discharge planning
n
nnEducate patients and caregivers on adaptive strategies and equipment use
n
nnDocument evaluations, progress, and discharge recommendations in the electronic medical record
n
n nQualifications
nBefore we go any further, we do have some deal-breakers. You must have:
nnnBachelor's or Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy
n
nnCurrent state Occupational Therapy certification/license
n
nnCurrent BLS (AHA) certificate
n
n nAdditional Qualifications That Are a Plus:
nnnNational Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy certification, AOTA and OTAC
