Overview
nPosition: Occupational Therapist- Outpatient
nLocation: 4323 NE Chouteau Trafficway, Ste E, Kansas City, MO 64117
nSchedule: Monday-Friday
nSalary: $75,000-$85,000 (pending experience)
nIncentives: $350 per month in uncapped student debt relief
nOur Select Physical Therapy outpatient orthopedic team is seeking an occupational therapist to join us in providing quality patient care.

We are looking for a skilled and motivated occupational therapist who is interested in a fun working environment alongside other experienced colleagues focused on obtaining the best outcomes possible for their patients. Our clinic is experienced in manual therapy, pediatrics, ortho, dry needling, and vestibular/concussion therapy. We have a strong work comp base and experience with this is preferred.

n nResponsibilities
nnnBest Practices: Stay current and up to date with Occupational Therapy research and employ Evidence Based Practice (RCB, clinician expertise, patient perception).
n
nnBuild Relationships: Enhance, develop and expand relationships with referral sources and maintain a positive level of interaction with centers and patients.
n
nnCollaborative Approach: Develop objective patient goals and establish the type, frequency and duration of occupational therapy in collaboration with the referring physician.
n
nnHigh Standard of Care: Understand appropriate state Practice Act and adhere to the laws that govern how OTs may practice and whom they may supervise.
n
nnInnovative Opportunities: Participate in the design and implementation of new programs or procedures with the approval of the manager and referring physicians per HIPPA guidelines.
n
nnLeadership: Supervise and delegate occupational therapy care for each patient within the guidelines of state rules and federal regulations.
n
nnPersonalized Treatment: Provide comprehensive and individualized treatment programs and demonstrate completion of patient care responsibilities and documentation requirements in an appropriate and timely manner.

n nQualifications
nnnGraduate of an accredited school for occupational therapy
n
nnState Occupational Therapist license (or license eligible)
n
nnCPR certification
n
nnValid state driver's license
