Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) - Full-Time
Orchard View Post Acute | (City, State)
Pay: $35-$40/hour
Help residents get back to the things that matter most.
At Orchard View Post Acute, you'll help residents regain the everyday skills that make life feel like their own again, like getting dressed, cooking a meal, or getting ready for the day on their own. You'll have time to build real relationships with residents and a team that values what therapy brings to their recovery.
We're looking for a creative, compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our rehab team full-time.
What you'll be doing
Carrying out treatment plans developed by the Occupational Therapist
Helping residents build strength, coordination, and independence with daily activities like dressing, bathing, grooming, and eating
Teaching residents and families how to use adaptive equipment and safe techniques at home
Tracking progress and letting the OT know about changes in a resident's condition
Working closely with PT, speech, nursing, and families to help each resident reach their goals
Keeping clear, timely documentation in our electronic health record
What we're looking for Active COTA license in Idaho, or the ability to get one
Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program and NBCOT certified
Current CPR/BLS certification
Skilled nursing, rehab, or geriatric experience is a plus, but new grads are welcome to apply!
