nWe are seeking a dynamic Occupational Therapist to join our Inpatient Acute Care Therapy Team. nStudent Stipend Program Eligible! Our Career Launch program allows Occupational Therapy students to receive $1,000/month, up to six months prior to graduation and an additional $500 bonus after receiving the required licensure for the role.

nDuties and Responsibilities:

nnnWork within the context of patient-centered care in an acute care setting.

n

nnProvide evaluation and treatment services to complex patients; concise and efficient documentation/billing in accordance with regulatory standards.

n

nnWork collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to create comprehensive evidence-based treatment plans to maximize functional outcomes and discharge plans.

n

nnEmbrace lifelong learning: willingly receive feedback and learn from team members, seek continual learning opportunities to advance one’s own practice, and share feedback to promote the growth of the team.

n

nnEngage in staff meetings, advanced practice teams, and shared governance to help drive best practice and clinical excellence.

n

nnWilling to take on additional responsibilities for team scheduling, program development and process improvement.

n

nnSupervise aide team members.

nQualifications Include:

nnnGraduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Program

n

nnMust be licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of Wisconsin in Occupational Therapy

n

nnNBCOT certification

n

nnSpecific skills: Experience in an acute care setting; Certified Lymphedema Therapist (CLT) preferred or willing to obtain CLT certification within 18 months of hire.
