Job Title: Occupational Therapist - Med/Surg
Location: Sierra Vista, AZ
Employment Type: Full-Time

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapists (Med/Surg) to join our healthcare team in Sierra Vista, AZ. The ideal candidates will provide therapy services to patients in a medical-surgical setting, helping them regain functional independence and improve quality of life.
Key Responsibilities Evaluate patients' functional status and develop individualized therapy plans
Provide therapeutic interventions to improve daily living and motor skills
Assist patients recovering from surgery, illness, or injury
Monitor progress and modify treatment plans as needed
Educate patients and families on therapy techniques and home care plans
Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and progress
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams
Must-Have Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
Active Occupational Therapy license in the state of Arizona
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Nice-To-Have Qualifications: Experience in Outpatient , Rehabilitation , or Acute Care settings
Required Skills Strong patient assessment and treatment planning skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to work in a fast-paced Med/Surg environment
Strong documentation and organizational skills
Patient-focused and compassionate approach
Education & Certification Degree in Occupational Therapy (required)
Active Arizona OT License
BLS Certification (required)
Work Environment Medical-Surgical (Med/Surg) unit
Hospital setting
Collaborative multidisciplinary team
