Position: Occupational Therapist
Location: Anchorage, AK
Shift Information
Shift: 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM
Schedule: 4 days, 10 hour shifts with a rotating schedule including weekends
Unit Information
Join a dynamic team in the Rehabilitation Services unit, an inpatient acute care facility with a total of 175 beds and 60 therapy providers, including physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, PTAs, and COTAs.
Key Responsibilities: Provide therapeutic interventions for patients in an acute care setting.
Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation using the EMR system (EPIC).
Participate in patient assessments and discharge planning.
Requirements Current Occupational Therapist certification is required.
Acute care experience is essential.
Work Environment Day Shift: Approximately 1 charge nurse, 3 registered nurses, 2 certified nursing assistants, and 1-3 sitters per shift.
Patient Ratios: 8-10 patients per therapist daily.
Weekend Requirements: Expect to work 2-3 weekends per month.
Additional Information Scrub Color: Olive green
Independent personality preferred for optimal teamwork and patient care.
No on-call requirements.
