It is the flagship hospital of the region, featuring a Level II trauma center, comprehensive stroke center, and the only children's hospital with a pediatric emergency room. The hospital supports advanced medical services, including robotic surgery and comprehensive cardiac care.
Unit Profile
The unit specializes in rehabilitation services with a focus on providing exceptional care to patients. Here are the key details:
Number of Beds: 24
Patient Ratios: 1 patient per hour
Staffing: Two CNAs per shift, with rehab tech support available 20 hours per week
Equipment: Fully equipped rehab gym and all necessary lift equipment
Documentation System: Cerner
Scheduling: Monday to Friday (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM)
Floating Policy: May float to Eckerd Living Center if necessary
Job Requirements Experience: Minimum of 1 year preferred
Certifications: BLS required and a valid state OT license
Skills: Ability to evaluate and treat patients with a strong rehabilitation mindset; focus on comprehensive treatment
