Job description
Occupational Therapist – Occupational Therapy
Full-time position with shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday. Option for 10-hour shifts is available.
26-week contracting opportunity.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree required.
Occupational Therapist (OT) license required.
NBCOT certification preferred.
BLS AHA certification required within the first 90 days if not in hand.
Experience in an acute care hospital setting.
Comfortable transferring patients with lines and drains, managing acutely ill diagnoses.
Epic experience preferred but not required.
Expected patient load of 7 to 8 patients per 8-hour shift.
Responsibilities
Conduct patient evaluations and provide care throughout the shift.
Participate in daily huddles and collaborate with rehabilitation team members.
Assist with late joint evaluations on a rotating basis.
Review patient charts and make care schedules.
Identify and implement therapeutic interventions based on patient needs.
Build up to 100% patient load over time.
