Job description
Seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide acute care services in a hospital setting. The role involves assessing, planning, and implementing rehabilitative programs to improve patients’ activities of daily living, mobility, cognition, strength, and coordination. Responsibilities include developing individualized treatment plans , educating patients and families , and documenting care according to departmental standards . The OT collaborates with physicians to establish and evaluate treatment goals and discharge plans.
Key requirements include
Bachelor’s or Master’s in Occupational Therapy
OT license, and BLS certification
The role demands effective communication, customer service orientation, teamwork, and basic computer skills. The position requires coverage for a minimum of two weekend days per month and one holiday annually, emphasizing adaptability in a fast-paced hospital environment.
