nWe are seeking experienced Occupational Therapists as we expand in Elk Grove, Yuba City, Roseville, Sacramento, Folsom and surrounding areas. This opportunity offers autonomy, professional stability, and the chance to make a meaningful, real-world impact.
nWho We’re Looking For:
nnnAn experiencedOccupational Therapistinterested in serving as aprimary therapistfrom evaluation through discharge.
n
nnAvailability for 5-10 hours a week and/or up to 32-40 hours per week
n
nnPassionate aboutfunctional, real-world rehabilitationdelivered in homes and community settings.
n
nnMotivated to help clients transition back to meaningful daily life, including:
n
nnManaging and picking up their own prescriptions
n
nnReturning to driving
n
nnTransitioning back to work
n
nnParticipating in yoga, light hiking, and community activities
n
nnA clinician who thrives with autonomy while valuing collaboration with an interdisciplinary team of OTs, PTs, SLPs, LCSWs, and other specialists.

nResponsibilities
nWhat you will do: Responsibilities listed include but not limited to:
nnnPerform evaluations and develop treatment plans
n
nnRegularly re-assess effectiveness of treatment plans, attend staffing meetings and family conferences
n
nnPerform discharge evaluations, make appropriate recommendations for home and community safety, and provide referral and education resources
n
nnCommunicate patient’s needs and progress to the treatment team, physician, person receiving services and family members
n
nnCommunicates with other disciplines to ensure collaboration, coordination of care and enhance patient outcomes
n
n nQualifications
nWhat you will need:
nnnMinimum of a bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy from a college or university with an accredited Occupational Therapy program
n
nnCurrent, unrestricted license as an Occupational Therapist by state in which practicing
n
nnCurrent CPR Certification
n
nnA minimum of one year’s work experience as an Occupational Therapist
n
nnDemonstrates knowledge of rehabilitation techniques related to complex neurological diagnoses preferred
n
nnCommunicates effectively and professionally in verbal and written interactions
n
nnAbility to lift 50 pounds
n
nnMoving, lifting, or transferring of patients which may involve lifting of up to 100 pounds following safety procedures
n
nnDuties require fine motor skills ,visual acuity, and walking/ standing for extended periods
n
nnAdditional physical requirements include: pushing/pulling, bending/stooping, reaching, kneeling, and positioning frequently at times
n
nnA health screen or examination may be required prior to assignment and periodically thereafter, depending on specific location policy, local and state regulations to verify employee is physically capable of performing assigned duties with or without reasonable accommodations
