Job description
Occupational Therapist
Schedule
Mon - Thurs, 40 hrs/week, days
Assignment Details
Holiday coverage required.
Requirements
Bachelor of Science or master's degree in occupational therapy from an accredited college or university.
Licensure as an Occupational Therapist by the state's board of health.
Current valid driver's license.
Current CPR certification.
Less than 1 year of experience desired, but not necessary if requirements are met.
Thorough knowledge of therapy procedures and rehabilitation practices.
Ability to learn and apply basic computer skills.
Responsibilities
Evaluate, plan, and provide treatment upon referral of a physician.
Treat patients with disabilities, disorders, and injuries to relieve pain and develop, restore, or maintain physical function.
Utilize various therapeutic modalities such as exercise, massage, heat, cold, and electricity.
Collaborate with families and health team members regarding patient abilities and goals.
