Occupational Therapist / OT

Transform Lives as an Occupational Therapist in the Scenic Moreno Valley, California

Are you an enthusiastic Occupational Therapist eager to empower patients on their journey to independence? If you're prepared to make a profound difference while advancing your career in a location renowned for its stunning landscapes and vibrant community — this is your moment.

We are on the lookout for a dedicated, full-time OTR/L to become part of a dynamic and innovative therapy team that cherishes collaboration, creativity, and meaningful outcomes. Regardless of whether you are an experienced therapist or just beginning your professional path, this position offers the chance to engage in essential work while immersing yourself in a community that thrives in its own unique way.

Create Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess the individual needs of patients and design personalized therapy strategies to help them meet their functional aspirations

Implement Therapeutic Practices: Apply proven methodologies to improve patients' motor abilities, cognitive functions, and daily living skills

Collaborate with Healthcare Professionals: Work alongside OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to deliver integrated and holistic patient care

Educate Patients and Families: Guide patients and their families on therapeutic techniques to support continued progress beyond the clinical setting

Monitor Patient Progress: Track clinical outcomes and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans, ensuring patients remain on their journey to recovery

Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program

Ongoing education or advanced certifications encouraged and supported

Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license

NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification mandatory

A deep-rooted passion for helping individuals achieve their utmost level of independence

Effective, empathetic communication skills with both patients and colleagues

Creativity and flexibility in adapting care plans to diverse patient needs

Confidence in working both autonomously and as a part of a close-knit, interdisciplinary healthcare team

Supportive, team-focused environment with opportunities for career growth

Full-time employment with flexible scheduling options

Clinical mentorship and resources for professional development

Access to advanced tools, state-of-the-art facilities, and robust documentation systems

Engagement in quality improvement and innovative projects

In this role, your work transcends simple treatment; you will facilitate the reclaiming of daily routines, boost self-esteem, and rekindle joy in the art of living. Your expertise will guide patients through rehabilitation — from aiding stroke survivors in fine motor recovery to supporting orthopedic patients in regaining mobility post-surgery. Each interaction will champion person-centered care that advocates resilience and independence.

This environment doesn't adhere to checklists or shortcuts. Here, each patient is a unique narrative, and every therapy session represents a new chapter in their recovery journey. You will collaborate closely with a network of therapists, physicians, nurses, and social workers to co-create rehab plans that are as distinctive as the individuals they serve.

We've crafted a supportive culture here. Our rehabilitation team doesn't merely clock in and out — we uplift each other, share insights, and commemorate every success along the way. You'll discover a workplace where your contributions are valued, your professional development is nurtured, and you can visibly witness the impact of your efforts daily.

And let's not forget about the backdrop: Moreno Valley, California, a place that combines breathtaking vistas with community spirit. Forget the monotony of cityscapes — here, you'll find rolling hills, sprawling parks ideal for family picnics, and endless opportunities for outdoor exploration. Scenic views await you, and the landscape is dotted with trails for hiking and biking.

The local culture bursts with artistry, lively music, and diverse culinary delights. Local eateries serve up delicious options to satisfy any palate, from savory international fare to gourmet coffee spots. As artists, entrepreneurs, and families intermingle in this community, the atmosphere captures a special essence where adventure and relaxation coexist harmoniously.

We seek someone who views occupational therapy as more than just a profession; it's a genuine calling. You should feel a rush of joy when a patient regains the ability to use their limbs, walks unaided, or expresses thoughts they once struggled to articulate.

Whether you're an experienced OTR/L or are fresh from your certification, you'll flourish in this environment if you exhibit compassion, ambition, and humility in all that you do. If the merger of top-tier care with an enriching lifestyle resonates with you — then you've found your home.

If you're ready to develop professionally, make an impact, and root yourself in a community that values compassion — we're excited to welcome you aboard.
