Job description
Do you have a passion for working with children? Easterseals Joliet Region, Inc. is seeking a Pediatric Occupational Therapist to join our team. This position requires no evenings or weekends and part-time hours during the summer with full salary pay. Qualifications:
Degree from an accredited school of Occupational Therapy.
Licensed as an Occupational Therapist in the state of Illinois
Valid driver's license
Responsibilities: Evaluate clients referred for occupational therapy services using established evaluation procedures and standardized assessments.
Develop treatment goals, plans, and objectives based upon the initial evaluation and program requirements, and update plans per Agency policy.
Develop and provide coaching for family members and/or clients to incorporate new skills and/or techniques into normal routines and activities at home.
Instruct family members and students on the proper and safe use of adaptive equipment and assistive technology.
Eligible for loan forgiveness under Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF).
