Now Hiring: Occupational Therapist (OT) – Full-Time

Tice Valley Post Acute is seeking a compassionate, skilled, and dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our rehabilitation team on a full-time basis.

Position Details

Position: Occupational Therapist (OT)

Employment Type: Full-Time

Location: Tice Valley Post Acute

Pay Rate: $55.00–$60.00 per hour, DOE

Responsibilities

Evaluate residents' functional abilities and develop individualized treatment plans.

Provide occupational therapy services to improve residents' strength, mobility, coordination, and independence with daily activities.

Implement therapeutic interventions based on residents' individual needs and care plans.

Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including dressing, grooming, bathing, feeding, and other functional tasks.

Assess and address safety, mobility, and environmental needs.

Monitor resident progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate.

Document evaluations, treatments, progress, and outcomes accurately and timely.

Collaborate with physicians, nurses, CNAs, physical therapists, speech therapists, and other members of the interdisciplinary team.

Educate residents and caregivers on therapeutic techniques, exercises, and strategies to support independence.

Recommend adaptive equipment and assistive devices when appropriate.

Participate in care planning and interdisciplinary meetings.

Maintain compliance with facility policies, professional standards, and applicable regulations.

Promote resident dignity, safety, independence, and overall quality of life.

Perform other occupational therapy-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Current and valid California Occupational Therapist license.

Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.

Previous skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or long-term care experience preferred.

Strong clinical assessment, treatment planning, and documentation skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work effectively with residents, families, and an interdisciplinary healthcare team.

Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Dependable, professional, and able to work independently.

Commitment to providing high-quality, safe, and individualized resident care.
