Job Responsibilities

Develop Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patients' needs and create individualized therapy strategies to assist in achieving their personal goals

Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Employ evidence-based approaches to bolster patients' motor skills, cognitive abilities, and daily activities

Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Professionals: Work in close-knit collaboration with OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care

Educate Patients and Families: Guide patients and their families on therapy techniques to ensure ongoing progress at home

Track and Document Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and adjust treatment plans as necessary to keep patients on the road to recovery

Qualifications

Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college or university

Commitment to continued education or post-graduate certifications is encouraged and supported

Licenses

Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license required

NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is a must
