Position Overview
Create Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patients' needs and develop personalized therapy strategies to empower them in reaching their functional aspirations.
Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply proven methodologies to boost patients' physical abilities, cognitive function, and everyday activities.
Collaborate with a Multi-Disciplinary Team: Partner closely with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to provide well-rounded, compassionate care.
Guide Patients and Families: Educate patients, caregivers, and loved ones on therapeutic practices to support continued growth in their home environments.
Monitor Progress and Adapt Plans: Keep track of clinical progress and make treatment adjustments to ensure patients stay on their path to recovery.
Qualifications
Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
Continuing education and specialization courses are encouraged and supported.
Required Certifications
Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license.
NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory.
