Job Responsibilities
Develop Tailored Treatment Plans: Understand the unique needs of patients, crafting personalized therapy strategies to help them meet their functional objectives
Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Employ evidence-based practices designed to enhance motor skills, cognitive functions, and everyday living activities
Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work closely with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, medical professionals, and nurses to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care
Educate Patients and Families: Guide patients and their families through therapy techniques that can aid in continued progress at home
Track Progress and Document Outcomes: Monitor patient development and modify treatment plans to ensure the best possible outcomes
Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
Encouragement and support for continuing education or advanced certifications
Licensing and Certifications
Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
Mandatory NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification
