Job Description

Create Tailored Treatment Approaches: Assess patient needs and design personalized therapy plans to enable them to meet their functional objectives

Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply research-supported methods to improve patients' motor skills, cognitive function, and daily living tasks

Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Partner with OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to ensure integrated, patient-focused care

Educate Patients and Families: Provide guidance and instruction on therapy methods that support ongoing improvement outside of clinical settings

Track Progress and Document Outcomes: Monitor patient advancement and modify treatment strategies as necessary, ensuring they progress towards their goals

Education

Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational institution

Encouragement for ongoing education or advanced certifications

Certifications

Valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license

NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory

Skills
