Description
Advantage Rehab, part of the Corus Health family of companies, is currently seeking a qualified Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) to provide restorative care for the residents of Laguna Rainbow Elder Care Center, just outside of Albuquerque in Paraje on the Laguna Pueblo. Responsibilities & Duties:
Evaluate patient's level of function by utilizing diagnostic and prognostic procedures
Developing individual plan of care based on patient's personal goals
Supervising and directing Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants with regard to patient care
Creating adaptive devices for use by the patient to achieve their functional therapeutic goals
Requirements
Qualifications & Requirements: Bachelor's or Master's degree in occupational therapy from a university accredited by the Council of Medical Education of the American Medical Association and the American Occupational Therapy Association
License to practice in the State of New Mexico
Comprehensive knowledge of the principles, concepts and methodology required of an occupational therapist and its practice application in the treatment of hospice patients at home
Excellent Communication and documentation skills
Willingness to collaborate with an interdisciplinary team
Valid New Mexico driver's license and reliable, insured transportation
