Transform Lives as an Occupational Therapist in the Vibrant Heart of Greensboro, North Carolina

Are you an inspired Occupational Therapist eager to guide patients towards regaining independence and enhancing their quality of life? This is your chance to make a significant difference while crafting your professional future in an area celebrated for its dynamic arts scene and friendly community — meet your new opportunity.

We are on the lookout for a full-time, licensed OTR/L to join our innovative, collaborative therapy team that values creativity, connection, and progress. Regardless of whether you're an experienced professional or just embarking on your career, this position offers the platform to make a meaningful impact in a welcoming environment.

Create Individualized Treatment Plans: Assess patients' needs and develop tailored therapy regimens that help them reach their functional goals.

Implement Therapeutic Strategies: Apply proven techniques to improve patients' mobility, cognitive abilities, and daily functioning.

Collaborate with a Multidisciplinary Team: Work closely alongside OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to deliver comprehensive and holistic patient care.

Educate Patients and Families: Guide patients and their caregivers on therapy methods to support continued progress at home.

Track and Report Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and modify treatment plans as necessary to ensure patients remain on their path to recovery.

Education

Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.

Encouragement of ongoing education or additional certifications is provided.

Certifications

Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license.

NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory.

Skills

A genuine passion for aiding others and a deep-rooted motivation to assist individuals in attaining their highest level of independence.

Excellent communication skills—empathetic and clear—when interacting with patients and team members alike.

Creative problem-solving skills that enable you to adapt care plans to suit diverse patient needs.

A strong team player who is equally comfortable working independently within a tight-knit interdisciplinary framework.

Benefits

A supportive and collaborative work environment that encourages personal and professional growth.

Full-time schedule with flexible working hours.

Access to clinical mentorship and career advancement opportunities.

Top-quality tools, resources, and documentation systems to facilitate your work.

Engagement in innovative quality improvement initiatives.

Your Daily Impact

In this position, you'll move beyond simply treating symptoms—you will help individuals restore their routines, rebuild their confidence, and rekindle their enjoyment for everyday living. Whether you're guiding stroke survivors through fine motor skill exercises or assisting orthopedic patients in reclaiming mobility post-surgery, your expertise will be vital in offering compassionate, person-centered care that nurtures resilience and independence.

This is not an environment for routine checklists. Here, every patient has a unique narrative, and each therapy session begins a new chapter in their recovery journey. You will collaborate with fellow therapists, physicians, nursing staff, and social care workers to compile rehabilitation strategies tailored to the distinct stories of the people you serve.

The Team and the Community You'll Adore

We have created something extraordinary here. Our rehabilitation team doesn't merely go through the motions—we encourage one another, exchange knowledge, and celebrate achievements (both large and small) as a close-knit unit. You will discover a workplace where your thoughts count, your development is prioritized, and the results of your efforts can be witnessed every day.

And consider the backdrop: Greensboro, a city that surprises and welcomes those who embrace its charm. Here, you'll be far from urban concrete—imagine rolling parks, inviting trails, and rivers perfect for weekend adventures such as fishing or paddleboarding. The region thrives on creativity, with art and culture woven into the fabric of the community.

Food trucks serve everything from gourmet cheeseburgers to delectable vegan options. Local craft breweries and coffee shops buzz with energy, and the historic downtown area is alive with music and art festivals. Whether it's a bustling market or a quiet stroll through nature, there is always an opportunity for connection and inspiration in this vibrant city.

Your Calling Awaits

We are searching for someone who views occupational therapy as more than just a job—it is a vocation. We need a candidate who finds joy in every small victory when a patient regains function or communicates effectively for the first time in months.

Be it a seasoned OTR/L or a promising new graduate, you will flourish here if you bring compassion, dedication, and a willingness to learn. If you find value in merging high-standard care with a fulfilling lifestyle—your journey begins here.

Join Us in Creating Meaningful Change

This is your chance to be part of something more significant than traditional work roles. Here, your contributions will shape lives, drive recovery, and help restore what was once lost. All while you immerse yourself in a community that epitomizes harmony and growth.

If you're ready to advance, give back, and anchor yourself within a caring community—come and be part of our team.
