Job Description
Create Tailored Therapy Plans: Assess individual patient needs and craft bespoke therapy strategies targeting their functional aspirations.
Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Employ evidence-based approaches to boost patients' motor abilities, cognitive function, and everyday living skills.
Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams: Partner with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, healthcare providers, and nursing staff to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care.
Guide Patients and Families: Provide education to patients and their families on effective therapy methods to promote sustained progress at home.
Track and Record Progress: Systematically monitor patient development, documenting outcomes and adjusting treatment plans to keep objectives in focus.
Education
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
Continued education or additional certifications are encouraged and supported.
Certifications
Valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license.
NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is required.
