Job Responsibilities

Create Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess individual patient needs and devise specialized therapy strategies to help them reach their functional objectives.

Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based interventions aimed at improving patients' motor abilities, cognitive functions, and daily living skills.

Team Collaboration: Partner with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to deliver comprehensive and holistic care for patients.

Guide Patients and Families: Instruct and empower patients and caregivers on therapy techniques to facilitate prolonged improvements at home.

Track Progress and Adjust Plans: Monitor clinical outcomes diligently, making adjustments to treatment plans to assure patients remain on track.

Education Requirements

Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.

Ongoing education or advanced certifications encouraged and supported.

Required Certifications

Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license.

NBCOT certification is a must.
