Responsibilities: Reviewing patient medical history and developing individualized treatment plans
Diagnosing patients by observing movements and listening to concerns
Using exercises, stretching, equipment, and manual therapy to manage pain and improve mobility
Recording patient progress and modifying treatment plans as needed
Qualifications: Licensed Occupational Therapist (or ability to obtain in the state of practice)
Excellent work ethic and dedication to patient success
Basic computer skills
CPR and first aid certification required
Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) strongly preferred OR CHT-eligible (minimum 4,000 hours of hand therapy experience and 3 years of practice ), awaiting board examination , OR
Level II fieldwork in hand therapy , with relevant continuing education , and 2+ years of outpatient hand therapy experience as a licensed OT; NO New Grads
Experience treating upper-extremity (UE) diagnoses , including repetitive strain injuries, arthritic conditions, nerve injuries, ligament and tendon injuries, post-surgical conditions, fractures, sprains and strains, and nerve and tendon transfers and repairs. Experience with splinting and orthotic fabrication preferred.
Experience treating pediatric patients and a demonstrated interest in providing pediatric occupational therapy services as part of a combined hand therapy and pediatric caseload
About: Compensation: $91K - $108K+, with an optional higher-caseload compensation model and additional compensation for eligible certifications. Benefits include generous paid time off, medical, dental, vision, disability, and 401(K) with a 4% employer match.
