Job Title: Occupational Therapist, Outpatient
Location: Sierra Vista, AZ
Employment Type: Part-Time (Nonexempt, On-site)
Schedule: Outpatient, Monday-Friday with variable start times between 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Salary-$72,800- $114,400
Vendor fee-$2912-$4576
Job Summary:
The Occupational Therapist evaluates patients and develops individualized treatment plans to improve functional independence across outpatient and related care settings. This role focuses on delivering therapeutic interventions that support activities of daily living, promote safety, and maximize patient engagement in meaningful routines. The OT collaborates with an interdisciplinary team, provides patient and caregiver education, and ensures accurate and timely documentation in compliance with regulatory and facility standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans
Deliver therapeutic interventions to improve functional independence
Support patients in performing activities of daily living (ADLs)
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
Educate patients and caregivers on adaptive strategies and equipment use
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Ensure compliance with facility policies and regulatory standards
Maintain a safe and effective treatment environment
Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
Active Occupational Therapy (OT) license in the state of practice
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Rehabilitation or Acute Care experience preferred
