nBayCare is currently in search of our newest Acute Care Occupational Therapist Pool/PRN who is passionate about providing outstanding customer service to our community. nAcute Care Occupational Therapist Responsibilities:
nnnConduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' functional abilities and limitations.
n
nnDevelop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve ADLs, mobility, and safety.
n
nnProvide therapeutic interventions including neuromuscular re-education, therapeutic exercise, and adaptive equipment training.
n
nnCollaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physicians, nurses, physical therapists, and case managers.
n
nnDocument patient progress and treatment outcomes in accordance with hospital and regulatory standards.
n
nnEducate patients and caregivers on techniques to improve independence and safety at home.
n
nnParticipate in discharge planning and recommend appropriate follow-up services.
n
n nRequirements:
nnnBLS (Basic Life Support)
n
nnOT (Occupational Therapy)
n
nnOr OT (Occupational Therapy) Eligible to obtain
n
nnRequired Bachelor's Occupational Therapy
n
nnPreferred 1-year Occupational Therapy
n
