nLocation: Housed inside of Rush Specialty Hospital
nSchedule: PRN / Per Diem
nCompensation: $55 per hour
nRUSH Specialty Hospital, a partnership between Select Medical and RUSH, is a 100-bed facility that provides both critical illness recovery as well as acute inpatient rehabilitation services.
nOur acute rehabilitation unit is committed to providing exceptional and compassionate care tobest address the medical, physical, emotional, and vocational challenges for individuals with brain injuries,spinal cord injuries, neurological disorders, orthopedic issues, amputation, and multiple traumas.

n nResponsibilities
nnnEvaluates all assigned patients and develops, implements and modifies treatment plan in accordance with the patient’s need and physician direction.
n
nnResponsible for delegation and direction of all discipline-specific therapy services for those assigned patients. Ensures the design of functional treatment programs allowing for an effective return to community activities.
n
nnServes as an educator of patients, families, students, co-workers and self.
n
nnPerforms other professional duties associated with the care of the patient, development of discipline-specific therapy services and design of program delivery.
n
n nQualifications
nMinimum Qualifications
nnnCurrent and valid state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as an Occupational Therapist required.
n
nnCertified BLS or completion in the first 90 days of employment is required.
