Dallas, TX $95,910 - $114,180 a year

Job Description

Create Customized Treatment Strategies: Assess patient needs and design tailored therapy plans to help them reach their functional milestones

Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Employ established practices to improve patients' motor skills, cognitive abilities, and daily living tasks

Engage with Interdisciplinary Teams: Work closely alongside OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to guarantee comprehensive, holistic patient care

Guide Patients and Caregivers: Educate patients and their families on therapeutic methods to encourage ongoing progress outside the clinical setting

Monitor and Document Progress: Keep track of clinical outcomes and modify treatment approaches as necessary, ensuring patients are on a successful path

Education

Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution

Encouragement of continuing education or graduate-level certifications

Certifications

Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license

NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is a must

Skills

A genuine passion for helping others achieve their highest level of autonomy
