Join our healthcare team in Robstown, Texas, where you'll help individuals regain their independence through personalized treatment plans and expert occupational therapy care.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct Patient Evaluations Assess patients' needs and develop individualized therapy plans to help them achieve their functional and mobility goals.
Administer Therapeutic Procedures Implement evidence-based interventions to improve patients' motor skills, cognitive abilities, and daily living performance.
Collaborate with a Multidisciplinary Team Work closely with physicians, physical therapists, speech therapists, and other healthcare professionals to provide holistic and coordinated patient care.
Educate Patients and Families Offer education, training, and support to patients and their families to encourage continued progress and independence at home.
Monitor and Document Progress Track patient outcomes and adjust treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal recovery and results.
Qualifications
Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license (Texas)
NBCOT certification (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) required
Previous clinical experience preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply
Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to adapt therapeutic techniques to meet each patient's unique needs in a fast-paced environment
