Our facilities specialize in hand and upper extremity rehabilitation. As Certified Hand Therapists (CHTs), we have the highest professional training for treating the hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder. nJob Description
nAre you an Occupational Therapist looking to build a rewarding career in a specialized outpatient setting? At The Hale Hand Center , you'll join a highly respected team dedicated to helping patients regain function and improve their quality of life through expert hand and upper extremity rehabilitation.
nWhat You'll Do:
nAs an Occupational Therapist , you'll play an essential role in helping patients achieve their functional goals by:
nnnEvaluating patients and developing individualized treatment plans
n
nnFabricating and fitting custom splints based on patient diagnoses
n
nnProviding evidence-based interventions to improve upper extremity function and independence in daily activities
n
nnMonitoring patient progress and modifying treatment plans as needed
n
nnMaintaining accurate and timely documentation
n
nnCollaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to deliver exceptional patient care
n
nnEducating patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, adaptive techniques, and equipment
n
nnEnsuring compliance with all regulatory and safety standards
n
n nQualifications
nnnGraduate from a CAPTE-accredited Occupational Therapy program
n
nnCurrent state of Florida license
n
nnCPR certification
n
nnOutgoing, compassionate, and patient-focused personality
n
nnA strong desire to learn and grow in a specialty practice
n
