We have a position for passionate, dedicated, energetic Occupational Therapists and Certified Occupational Therapist Assistants with a strong background in pediatric occupational therapy to join our team for the school year and continuing for future years. nOccupational Therapist - Responsibilities:
nCollaborate with school staff and Individualized Education Program (IEP) teams to develop individualized treatment plans and goals for students
nConduct comprehensive evaluations to assess students’ motor skills, sensory processing, and functional abilities (not applicable to Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant)
nProvide direct occupational therapy services to students, both individually and in group settings, addressing areas such as sensory integration, fine motor skills, visual-motor coordination, and self-care
nAdapt classroom environments, materials, and equipment to promote accessibility and facilitate student participation
nCollaborate effectively with teachers, special education staff, parents, and other professionals involved in the students’ care
nDocument student progress, treatment plans, and other relevant information according to agency and school guidelines
nParticipate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development and implementation of appropriate goals and accommodations for students
nStay up to date on current research, evidence based practices, and relevant policies in school-based occupational therapy
nLicense/Certification:
nState of Arizona OT License (Required)
nArizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card (Required)
nPediatric experience preferred (fieldwork experience is acceptable)
nJob Types: Part-time, Full-Time, Contract
