Job description
Step into a dynamic contract opportunity to support students as a skilled Occupational Therapist for a well-respected educational community near Battle Creek, MI. This assignment offers a unique chance to contribute through either in-person or VOCO (virtual) engagement according to your preference, allowing for flexibility while maintaining impactful service delivery.
The position covers a maternity leave, with the start date of November 5, 2026, and an anticipated end on February 15, 2027, for a total of 37.5 hours per week. While there is a possibility of extension, it is not guaranteed. Your work will help empower students and elevate their success within the learning environment.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Active Michigan OT license required; please present a screenshot or copy with your application (license status can be verified prior to submission).
Previous experience providing occupational therapy within school settings is highly desired.
Comfortable delivering services both on-site and through virtual platforms (VOCO).
Proficient communication and collaboration skills to work alongside educators and families.
Capable of developing and implementing individualized intervention plans for students.
Primary Responsibilities: Conduct assessments and design targeted interventions to support students' physical, sensory, and cognitive needs.
Collaborate with teachers, other therapists, and families to facilitate student progress and achievement.
Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with school and regulatory guidelines.
Adapt therapy techniques to both in-person and virtual modalities as needed.
Participate in team meetings, IEP planning, and contribute to a positive school environment.
