Job Description
Key Qualifications:
Master's degree (or higher) in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
Current state licensure to practice Occupational Therapy (or eligibility to obtain)
Previous experience working in schools or with pediatric populations preferred
Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
Ability to design individualized treatment plans tailored to students needs
Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment
Responsibilities:
Assess students for fine motor, sensory, and adaptive skills
Develop, implement, and monitor individualized occupational therapy plans
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student goals
Maintain accurate records and progress reports in compliance with school and state guidelines
Provide consultation and in-service training for school staff as needed
Support students both individually and in small groups to develop classroom and life skills
