Job description

This contract opportunity, located near Coatesville, PA and serving students in Landenberg, PA, is available for immediate start and runs through the end of the school year. Enjoy a part-time schedule totaling 30 hours per week, with workdays aligned to school hours from 8:30 am to 2:30 pm, making it easier to balance work and life.
You will work closely with a small caseload-currently 2 students-with a focus on delivering owed and compensatory occupational therapy services. Your commitment and compassion will help support students' functional, academic, and social success by addressing their unique needs in a school setting.
Desired Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program with current OT licensure in Pennsylvania
Previous experience providing occupational therapy services in a school or pediatric environment
Strong understanding of IEPs and compensatory service delivery
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Passion for supporting the developmental and educational progress of students
Key Responsibilities: Assess students' functional skills and develop individualized therapy plans in line with IEP goals
Provide direct occupational therapy services, tailored to each student's needs and compensatory requirements
Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to promote student progress
Maintain thorough documentation and keep accurate service logs
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning and decisions
