Job description
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a school-based Occupational Therapist, working part-time near Downingtown, PA-and making a direct impact on students' lives through dedicated support. Enjoy working consistent school hours, 8:30 am to 2:30 pm, serving a small caseload of students who currently require compensatory OT services. Your expertise will help these students achieve functional success in their academic environments and beyond.
Qualifications and Experience
Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in Pennsylvania
Previous experience in a school setting or similar pediatric environment
Familiarity with providing services for compensatory hours is a plus
Strong communication skills for collaboration with staff, students, and families
Dedication to fostering independence and student progress through individualized interventions
Responsibilities Deliver specialized, evidence-based OT support to a caseload of two students with owed hours
Collaborate closely with teachers and school staff to embed OT strategies into students' daily routines
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals
Monitor, document, and report on student progress
Attend team meetings as needed to coordinate care and services
Maintain organized and timely records of all sessions and communications
