Job description
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students who receive Setting IV special education services near Eden Prairie, MN. This is a Leave of Absence coverage position, beginning September 21 and continuing through January 4, with no work required during winter break. The role offers the potential for extension and provides a meaningful chance to grow your skills in a collaborative school environment.
Key Qualifications:
Active Occupational Therapist license and school-based OT experience required
Proven ability to support students with a variety of learning needs
Reliable transportation to and from the assignment location
Experience working with students receiving Setting IV special education services highly preferred
Ability to work the set 20 hours per week, scheduled over five days
Compliance with all onboarding processes and successful completion of a background check
Positive professional references-especially if you've held previous school or district placements
Flexibility to work within the academic calendar and the specified leave coverage dates
Ready for seamless communication and documentation within the school setting
Core Responsibilities: Deliver occupational therapy services to students as outlined in their IEPs
Collaborate closely with educators, related service providers, and families
Participate in necessary meetings and planning sessions
Maintain accurate and confidential student records
Adapt and modify therapy approaches to fit individual student needs
