Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students as an Occupational Therapist, delivering essential services across multiple school sites in a vibrant district near Arlington Heights, IL. In this full-time, contract position, you'll play a key role in helping children and young adults (Pre-K through age 22) reach their fullest potential, working within elementary, middle, and high schools. What We're Looking For:
Valid clinical license issued by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)
Active educator license from the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE)
Previous experience in a school-based setting is preferred
Ability to adapt to different school schedules and settings as assigned
Strong communication and organizational skills
Commitment to supporting diverse student populations across a range of developmental stages
Capability to complete all required credentialing steps promptly, including fingerprinting
Your Core Responsibilities: Deliver comprehensive occupational therapy services to a caseload varying by school assignment, ages Pre-K through transition (up to age 22)
Assess, plan, and implement individualized treatment programs to promote students' academic success and independence
Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to enhance student outcomes
Maintain accurate records, meet documentation deadlines, and comply with all regulatory requirements
Travel between designated school sites within the district, embracing flexibility and adaptability in your daily schedule
