Job description
Make a difference by supporting students in a vibrant, onsite school setting near Arvada, CO. This contract opportunity calls for a skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist to work directly with a diverse student caseload, providing essential therapies in a cooperative educational environment.
This role is part-time, offering 1.5 days per week (16 hours total), beginning in mid-August 2026 and concluding in late May 2027. You'll work exclusively onsite, collaborating closely with staff and students to promote successful educational outcomes.
Qualifications:
Current Occupational Therapist license required
Previous experience in school-based settings preferred
Ability to work independently while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills
Demonstrated commitment to student-centered care
Responsibilities: Evaluate and assess students based on IEP goals and school needs
Develop tailored treatment plans for a caseload of approximately 20 students
Deliver direct OT services and consult with teachers, parents, and staff
Document session notes, evaluations, and progress reports according to school and legal requirements
Participate in team meetings and contribute to student support strategies
Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations regarding therapy services in schools
