Job description
Make a real difference in the life of a student with this rewarding contract opportunity for an Occupational Therapist. Provide targeted, compassionate support for one 5th grade student for the remainder of the school year. This assignment offers uniquely focused care-just one hour per week-in a school setting located near Bixby, OK.
What you'll bring:
Valid OT licensure and eligibility to practice in Oklahoma
Previous experience in a school-based OT role or with pediatric populations
Background in home health or healthcare settings is valued
Comfort with supporting mobility needs, assistance with feeding, and personal care
Compassion and patience in working with students with physical disabilities
Strong communication and collaboration skills
In this role, you'll: Deliver direct occupational therapy services to a single 5th grade student, supporting mobility, feeding, and hygiene needs
Work with school staff and other related service providers to maintain continuity of care
Document progress and communicate regularly with educational teams
Collaborate with the family as appropriate to support the student's goals
