Job description

Desired Qualifications:
Valid Occupational Therapy license in Florida
Previous school-based OT or COTA experience strongly preferred
Experience working with PreK-12 age groups
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary team environments
Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation
Key Responsibilities: Provide occupational therapy interventions for students, addressing fine motor, sensory, and functional skills
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student assessments and IEPs
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and additional support staff to support student goals
Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with state and federal guidelines
Consult and provide recommendations to staff on classroom modifications and specialized equipment to facilitate student access and participation
Attend meetings and contribute to student progress discussions as a valued team member
